All physical matter, including living things, is bound by energy – specifically by light energy! According to Dr. Doug Corrigan, light is the “glue that holds all things together.” Living things also radiate (or emit) light, but because this light is on the infrared spectrum, our human eyes can’t detect it.
If all of us, including animals, are literally made of light, doesn’t it make sense that we can use light energy to bring homeostasis back to the body? Reiki treatments work with light (life force) energy to promote healing, relaxation, and balance, but there are other complimentary therapies that use light to heal.
Light or photo-therapy uses specific wavelengths of light directed at certain painful or injured sites on the body. Unlike the UV light of the sun, which can damage tissues, infrared light safely penetrates through the skin (up to 7cm deep), reaching muscles, nerves, and even bones. Infrared light also improves blood circulation, which helps the body reduce inflammation, improve healing, and relieve pain.
Many clinics and spas offer infrared therapy sessions, but they can be expensive and inconvenient to schedule or attend. Infrared devices you can use at home are also very pricey and can take up lots of space. If you’ve got pain and a limited budget, have you considered trying a photo-therapy patch?
IceWave patches are body-heat-activated photo-therapy patches which stimulate acupressure points and reflect specific wavelengths of infrared light back to the body using nano crystals. The result is a natural way of reducing feelings of pain without drugs, stimulants, chemicals or needles entering the body.
I’ve successfully used them to help with my Achilles tendonitis, and others have reported success with nerve pain, back pain, headaches, and other common causes of pain or inflammation.
